FOR SALE: HEATHKIT SIGNAL TRACER T-3: This working refurbished HEATHKIT Visual-Aural Signal Tracer Model T-3 ($100 Plus Shipping Cost) is in good cosmetic condition except for 2 small holes in the top of the case near the back. These sell not refurbished on eBay for more than twice my asking price. I replaced the power supply filter capacitors with 4 individual ones mounted in the original capacitor case. Also, all 6 of the old paper capacitors were replaced with modern capacitors. The eye tube is bright. All the tubes tested good and I cleaned the switches and potentiometers. I could hear static when the probe was touched, the volume controlled by the GAIN pot. The Audio probe is not original but is electrically the same. The RF probe is original one. A manual is included. Not all functions were tested. FOR SALE: EICO SIGNAL GENERATOR 324: This working EICO 324 RF SIGNAL GENERATOR # 37190 ($40 PLUS SHIPPING COST) is in good to excellent physical condition except for some small areas of rust on the top of the case. It has an operating frequency range of 150 KHz through 145 MHz on fundamentals in six bands and 111 MHz to 435 MHz on calibrated harmonics. The 2 power supply filter capacitors and all 7 of the paper capacitors were replaced with modern capacitors. The RF output connector was replaced with a modern BNC connector. All the switches and potentiometers were cleaned. I observed a good RF signal across all bands on my oscilloscope. I measured the center frequency output of each band and all were within the specification of + or – 1.5%. This is actually multiple units in a single
leather case. The VOM is a Triplett Model
310. It measures both AC and DC volts up to
1200, with resistance to a couple megs, and
current to 600 ma.

Inside the same leather case is a Triplett model
10 clamp on ammeter. Obviously, it only measures
AC current, and has ranges 6 to 300 amps. In
addition, there is a model 101 adapter that
allows one to plug into a standard 110 V AC
outlets, with a large hole in the center for
the clamp on ammeter, so one can measure the
current consumed.

In addition to the VOM, clamp on ammeter, and
plug in adapter, it includes a set of probes in
the nice leather case. Bottom line is that you
get a lot of measurement capability.
